Noon thru 7 PM – Registration and Set-up for Reenactors and Vendors
                                    Vignette/Skit Building Preparation

Saturday June 28, 2008

7:00 AM thru 9:00 AM - Registration and Set-up Continues for Reenactors and Vendors

NOTE: by 9:00 AM All POV’s must be removed from Period Camps and Village Skit/Vignette Areas – only period vehicles allowed

9:00 AM Park Opens To Visitors

9:15 AM – Unit Commanders Meeting at German HQ (school house)

10:30 AM – Unit Formations and Safety and Authenticity Checks (location TBD)
                        *Units remain for ceremony

11:00 AMFlag Raising Ceremony (location TBD) Presented by 2nd Infantry Division

Saturday Vignettes - 11:00 AM and continue through 4:30 PM

12:00 PM – Units prepare to deploy for first public battle

12:30 PM – 1st  Public Battle – Approx 30 minutes duration

1:30 PM – 1st Village Skit – 15 min. duration (Partisans and German troops)

2:30 PM – Units prepare to deploy for second public battle

3:00 PM – 2nd  Public Battle – Approx 30 minutes duration

4:15 PM – 2nd  Village Skit – 15 min. duration (Allied Special Forces and Germans)

5:30 PM – Evening Chow Line - meal in the field

5:30 PMPark Closes to Visitors

7:00 PM – USO Show at the Red Barn (Open to general public w/paid admission)
            Admission is FREE to reenactors/vendors ** Cash Bar will be available ** 

Sunday June 29, 2008

8:30 AM – Sunrise Service (for those wishing to participate – non denominational)

9:00 AM – Park Opens to Visitors

10:15 AM – Unit Commanders meeting at German HQ (school house)

11:00 AMFlag Raising Ceremony (location TBD) Presented by 2nd Infantry Division

Sunday Vignettes - 11:30 AM and continue through 3:00 PM

11:30 AM - Unit Formations and Safety and Authenticity Checks (location TBD)

12:30 PM - Units prepare to deploy for third public battle

1:00 PM – 3rd  Public Battle – Approx 30 minutes duration

2:00 PM –3rd Village Skit – 15 min. duration (Allies vs. Germans – liberation of Caen)

3:00 PM - All scenarios end – Event is completed

5:30 PM – Park Closes to Visitors

TSG, Inc. By-Laws safety and authenticity and event rules apply. A copy of these rules is available on the TSG, Inc. website (http://tsginc.proboards98.com) and will be made available at the event.

Reenactors age 16 - 17 *MUST* present guardian/parental authorization forms at registration per TSG, Inc By-Laws.  These permission/waiver forms are available at the TSG, Inc website (http://tsginc.proboards98.com) and at the event, if you are attending with your guardian/parent.  Reenactors under age 16 will not participate in public battles.  Ages 16 – 17 participate in battles with NO weapons.

NO LIVE AMMO permitted on Rockome Garden’s property.

Use of Pyrotechnics – The event staff will be providing pyrotechnic displays during the public battles.  If you have pyrotechnic displays you wish to provide, they must be approved AND coordinated by the event staff.  Over-all public battle commanders must also approve of the use and placement of all pyrotechnics.

Only period camping allowed in the park. Only period vehicles will be allowed in the park once event commences.  Modern camping and POV parking will be available in the north lot.  Details available at registration.

NFA rules apply.  State of Illinois residents must carry your FOID card.
