Privacy Policy
This page explains what information Rockome.com collects and how we use it. The short version is that we collect very little.
Information we collect
Rockome.com is a static website. It does not have user accounts, comment forms, shopping carts or online payments. We do not run advertising, and we do not use analytics or tracking scripts on these pages. Like all web servers, the server that delivers the site keeps basic technical logs, such as the address of the page requested, the date and the type of browser. These logs are used only to keep the site running and to find errors.
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply to you. We do not sell, rent or share your address with third parties, and we delete correspondence that no longer needs an answer.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. If you follow a link to another website, that site may use cookies under its own rules, which we do not control.
External links
A few pages, mostly in the journal, link to reference sources such as encyclopedia articles. These links open in a new window and are marked so that search engines do not treat them as endorsements. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those websites.
Children
The site is suitable for family reading, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how information is handled, for example a newsletter or a photo submission form, we will update this page before those features go live. You can always return to the About page or contact us with questions.
This policy applies to the website at rockome.com. It does not apply to any other business that may share a name with the historic Rockome Gardens.
