Rockome Gardens Family Style Restaurant
This year the Rockome Restaurant is under new management. Ellen Lockwood and several of the Amish cooks from the Old School House will be making our tasty traditional dishes. The Restaurant will be open on days that the Gardens are open. Please check our calendar for specific dates. Restaurant times of operation are weekdays 11-7, Friday & Saturday 11-9, and Sunday 10-3.
The Restaurant at Rockome will feature our Family Style Meal. This meal is all you can eat and features our delicious fried chicken. A second meat is also included which may be ham or roast beef depending on what our ladies have cooked up. The meal is rounded out by creamy mashed potatoes and gravy, home-made dressing or chicken ‘n noodles, and a vegetable. Coffee, tea or lemonade and dessert are included with the meal. Rockome also serves Coke products. Be sure to ask about our Shoo Fly Pie.
If the family style is too much food for you or you don’t have time for a sit down meal, we offer a plated lunch or select sandwiches. Also available is a salad and soup bar.
Friday night is our seafood night and Saturday we feature prime rib and baked potatoes. These two nights we will stay open until 9.
We have Sunday brunch available, back by popular demand. It features the family style selections plus such breakfast favorites as bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns and French toast.
Rockome Restaurant is located in the heart of Amish Country in Arcola, IL at Rockome Gardens. We will be offering a Lunch and Dinner Buffet Monday through Saturday. On Sunday's we will be offering a Sunday Brunch. The Restaurant is being run by the Herschberger Family who also owns Yoder's Kitchen in Arthur IL.

The newest place to eat at Rockome Gardens is the Rockome Grill, it is located in the center of the park across from the G-scale Train layout.
The Grill as it is called specializes in both healthier and traditional theme park fare. You will find deli wraps, veggie wraps, sandwiches, Panini’s, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, BBQ sandwiches, buckets of Fried Chicken, salads, poppers, chicken strips, cheese sticks and many more choices. In addition to the quick menu items you will also find Amish made Cheeses, Deli meats, Fresh Breads, and of course the old favorites. The Grill is set up for quick service to get you back out and enjoying the park, let us put together a picnic lunch for you to enjoy out by the pond or train yard. The Grill has booths for your indoor service as well.
The Grill will also feature Vienna Beef Hot Dogs, Campbell soups, TPC salads and of course Slushes. The grill will be open during park hours and we look forward to serving you.
